Below Text Highlights From April Seattle Death Seminar
The Soul Is Eternal
Who Ever Lived Still Is
The Soul Has No Cover
” Unfortunately We Begin To Believe We Are Our Cover. . .
” We Need To Consciously Use a Cover Knowing That at a Certain Point We Give It Away
” Within a cover you can discover a gift to carry forward “Consciously Disconnect from the Hold of The Body/Mind
And Then Consciously Again Connect with The Body /Mind
The Soul Has No Story
” The goal is not To Get Anywhere. The goal is not to Be Anything. That’s just another story. ”
” Much of Our Cultural Story We Are Unconscious Of.”
” As We Give Up Our Story We See From The Others Point of View. “Invite The Mind to Be Still and Awake at the same time
” This particular feeling or state is helpful, because it is is a state that we can experience after the death of the body. It is just still, it is not consumed by worry or distraction “
Everything Need Not Be So Body-Centric
Meditation vs Contemplation
“Contemplation would be if we through concentration look at form and try glean the essence of that form. When you go beyond form to no form, that’s meditation.“
Zoom Discoveries We Shared
() “Remember It Is The Soul That Contains The Body”
() “By stating them outloud in Zoom they become more real.”
() “By hearing all of you, I feel more hopeful”
() “Even my Dreaming Is About This Work”
() ” The Meditations help me discover the Reality of my Soul separate from body/mind identification”
() ” My orientation in my other practices is changing, in them I lose my stories/my cover and I am more aware of my Soul, but it is disorientating as I know my self in a new way. It is hard to explain.”
() ” My Unconscious Story: In the US the underlying story is so individualistic. The idea that the Culture, the Family is ‘The’ most important things is the Story of other Cultures. Seeing all this, I am less attached to my story.”
() ” In the next Seminar address the process of Choosing When to Die. It is becoming more and more legally available. How it it different, useful, detrimental. “~
